Hello! I’m Audrey. I’m a college admissions counselor. A master motivator. A champion of teenagers and young adults.

My students often hail from the San Francisco Bay Area (Palo Alto, Los Altos Hills, San Jose, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Marin, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Lafayette), Los Angeles (Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park, Highland Park, Pasadena) and seek degrees in the STEM fields (computer science, engineering, biology, pre-med), the humanities (psychology, sociology, gender studies, political science, history) and the arts (drama, dance, art, music). I have also coached students who live in Colorado, Nevada, Washington, Virginia, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, England, Turkey, and India.
I’ve privately tutored, taught for the Palo Alto Unified School District, and worked as an academic and success coach and an essay editor and college admissions counselor for two prominent Bay Area companies.
My students have gotten into top schools including Stanford, Princeton, Yale, U Penn, Cornell, Duke, Rice, Swarthmore, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Case Western, Georgetown, St. Andrews, Reed, Oberlin, Vassar, Vanderbilt, Emory, Wellesley, Bard, Occidental, Northwestern, Northeastern, Boston U, U Michigan, U Washington, UT Austin, UNC Chapel Hill, U Illinois Urbana-Champaign, UCLA, UC Berkeley, USC, NYU Stern, NYU Tisch, the University of Chicago…and many, many more. The best wins are those applicants who don’t fit the steep statistics for the school, but through our work together are able to write fantastic essays that garner acceptance letters.
I’ve always loved writing, and my senior year at Gunn High School I got a phone call from the dean of admissions at the University of Chicago letting me know that out of about 15,000 applications, my essay was one of the very best. My love for the art and format of the personal admissions essay was clinched, and I enrolled at the U of C. After freshman year, I used my skills to transfer to Stanford University, where I graduated with a degree in Drama (the ultimate way to study creative writing, psychology, sociology, and art). And yes, I took computer programming and astrophysics there too!
In addition to college admissions counseling, writing tutoring, and both academic and personal life coaching, I also work professionally as an actor and author. Every session we have will be fun and inspiring! And I promise, no clown noses. Even though Skype allows for them.
